I am a sassy Southern belle who shares a split personality of being sporty yet sophisticated. Taurus is my astrological sign, which characterizes my general nature of being patient. However, like the bull if provoked, my patience will cease and charging with full force is what will follow. Nevertheless, I am sweet-natured, kind hearted and free-spirited.

One of my greatest aspirations in life is to become multilingual so that I can travel around the world with ease of communication because I love to chat and learn about new cultures. Thus far, I can be considered bilingual with English being my native language together with Spanish, after having studied it as part of my undergraduate degree at the University of the West Indies. Already, I have engaged myself in the learning of other languages like French, Italian, Portuguese and Hindi in my attempt to fulfill my dream of being multilingual. My academic pursuits are still very much in progress. I am currently doing Post Graduate studies at the University of the West Indies.

A deep passion for Bollywood music and a love for the Communications field catapulted me into Radio Broadcasting. Joining Radio 90.5 FM as of August 2006 was the best thing ever because it offered me two things that I was looking for in the Broadcasting field: the exposure to Bollywood music, and a family atmosphere. Apart from this weekend excitement on the People’s Station, I am a full time Spanish teacher during the week.

When I do get a chance to take a time-out in my very busy schedule I enjoy sports, surfing the net, dancing (especially Latin dancing!), and building my database that keeps track of my music collection.
